Maybe not major, but if the leakage at teh exhaust valves persists, it
will 
only get worse.  Continental does not allow any leakage by the valves.  
Chances are you need new guides and a valve grind on those two.  Depending
on 
how much of the work you can do yourself, you might get away for ~$200.  
While you're at it, give the bore a light hone (almost free)  and replace
the 
rings (more $).

Of course, there are things you might want to do before you pull the 
cylinders, like stake the valves, eyeball the valves and guides ("rope 
trick") and maybe a valve wobble test.
