I fixed mine. But my tach was not wiggling, but almost quit working
altogether. While I waited for the
new one I ordered, I took the old one apart and checked the inner parts. I
saw a shaft fallen out of
it's original place, put that one back and the tach was working fine
again.
But not for long. The instrument, although German made was of a lausy
quality (made in the 90ties). It
took me 3 more trys to make fix last long.
I would think older tachs are of a better construction.
