Back in 1946-56 My Dad had a Ercoupe 99136(now deceased) and two other
guys
had coupes. and we flew with about 7 Cessnas 120's and 140's and My Dad
and
than the other two coupes always beat the Cessna's . whenever we went over
40mi from home, when we went a 100 to 150 mi we had time to have a cup of
coffee before the Cessnas arrived. Dad always put the coupe on the step
and
that is why he was always first. (and he didn't over rev.) Oh yes he would
always take less gas than the other two coupes. By the way, one of the
other
two coupes is the one I'am selling to Jeff G. --Jim P
