I am not sure but it seems files appeared afterwards. There was a system
clock problem, client being a few seconds in the past. Can it explain
the problem?

When the client's time is off and fuse has entry-timeout set to 0, is this problem seen?

The fuse forget log message is benign and does not have any functional impact. I have sent a patch which addresses this behavior:
