The warning is probably because the editor is detecting the group email address and unsubscribe address in the footer text that is appended to each post, which you included in your reply. It is asking if you want to edit your post, ie. the actual message body. You will not see yours or others' email addresses in the Groups interface because that information is public. I'm not sure what you mean by "abbreviated" e-dresses.
