FYI - the "new" compose has always had a tendency to jump around
unexpectedly, for me too. Browser = Google Chrome. Cache and cookies have
been cleared many dozen times over the months since the "new" compose came
out and this began. I think it might be "normal" behavior; it's just
annoying that things jump in unexpected (to me) ways when the cursor is
moved, or when clicking on an area of text and the text suddenly jumps four
lines up, or down. Some of it is downright frustrating because the cursor
ends up where I didn't click the mouse. It does not behave like that in
any other Windows-based program I have ever used, whether a word processor,
or a text editor, an email client program, a spreadsheet, or whatever.

I just have come to expect that this is the way Gmail's compose editor
behaves.

And now you are going to tell me that I am the crazy one. So be it.

Andy
