Gmail doesn't care about periods within the account name portion of your address. You can randomly add or remove periods and they all point to the same Gmail account. Go to Settings > Accounts and click on "Add another email address you own". For the email address, enter your own address but with an extra period somewhere. Gmail accepts the new address, even though it is really yours. It probably "shouldn't" work (Gmail should recognize that it's yours), but for now it does work.
