It appears that Google have changed the process / system used in order to 
integrate with Gmail. Applications that rely on this integration with 
Gmail, such as Sage ACT, are now suffering and failing as a result. The 
previous example regarding sage ACT is having a serious impact for my end 
users. We actually bought this Sage software based on its capability of 
syncing / integrating with Gmail. 

So, who is responsible in rectifying this issue? Google, whose change in 
settings have blocked integration with ACT or Sage, whose customers are now 
in a position of not been able to use their software for the purpose it was 
purchased?
