I'm used to Gmail's UI being pretty intuitive, or at least include all the features I'm used to from other webmail, so I'm stumped by this... I created a filter and checked a number of items in that filtered view, more to count them than to do anything in particular with them. There were about 60 checked intems going back a few months. Those items are all still checked, even though I've left the filter view. I don't want them checked, so I went to find the "uncheck all" function, usually at the top of the checkbox column on most applications. It's not there. I can't find it anywhere. How can I uncheck all of the scattered, checked items without recreating the filter and going through and unclicking each item?
