I don't remember if someone told me this or I stumbled on it, Laura, but here's how to change the Subject in a Gnail reply:
1. Click the e-mail's reply icon, the bent, left pointing arrow. 2. In the reply space that comes up the same icon appears next to the address, and between the icon and the address there is a small down pointing arrow head. Click it. 3. A drop down menu will appear, and one of the options is "Edit subject." Click it and you're on your way. Have a Happy New Year.
