I have not found this specific issue searching this forum so please direct me there if I have missed it...
Trying to recover a password using the recovery options for the email address [email protected] (XXXXX represents the user name) returns the message "the email address does not exist" Sending an email to that address returns the error "Diagnostic-code: smtp;550-5.1.1 The email account that you tried to reach does not exist." OK, if it does not exist, then I should be able to create a new account using XXXXX as the user name. Trying that tells me that XXXXX user name is already being used, and provides other suggestions. How can XXXXX user exist, but [email protected] does not exist? There does not seem a way out of the circular loop. Using the alternative email address and recovery phone number just puts me back into the same loop.
