Although I used to use GMarks I've found some pretty dicent
alternatives for both FF4 and Chrome that I don't bother about it
anymore.
Still I subscribe to this feed and still it isn't dead so I got
curious about the amount of people that actually use your add-on.

>From the add-ons download page I can see that you still have a quite
impressive number os weekly downloads, about 2400.
If we consider that no real effort have been made on it doesn't
support the new FF4 then this number means something.
I never wrote an add-on for any browser but I'm a software developer
and I really like the "Cash Cow" concept.
Like someone said, peaople spend a lot of money on iPhone, Android,
etc garbadge, I think you can count on having a pretty good ROI
supporting it on FF4 and charging little money for one to use it.

I'll take the example of YAGBE. a Google Bookmarks extension for
Chrome.
>From the extensions page I can see that it has 43224 users. Say 10%
were willing to buy it for $0.99, we're talking about earning around
$4000.
Does the effort of porting what you have to FF4 cost more than half of
that on your own time?

Having a look at the bookmark extensions aavailable I discard all that
are glued to a specific browser, and that counts with the browser own
bookmaks engine.
The ones browser agnostic tend to get too complex... all I want is to
manage some bookmarks, not to fly around the moon!

I'm not saying you should port it to FF4, I'm just doing a little
math :)
If you do, keep it simple and do not try mimic anything else out
there.

Cheers!
Alex
