LINUX PRESENTATION:

Bob:

I have been very busy and unable to say much lately on this.
However, I would be happy to come to the meeting and provide a short
talk on my use of Linux in an office environment and my experience
supporting a inux server in another office. Now we use windows on the
desktops, but Linux is used for a variey of server needs. I use Linux
on the desktop a fair amount actually.
I have demoed a MySQL based groupware product for schools and have a
few other goodies around such as Jpilot and some wEB authoring tools
which I use and like quite a bit.

I have also maintained a Linux server for websites, email server, mail
lists, etc with a 24x7 link to the Net and can talk about that
experience as well. Maybe too small an operation for some state
officials, but I bet there are many small networks there too.

Let me know if I can be of help and the date, time, place of the
meeting.
