I'm leaning towards skipping it this year, at least until after the
holidays. We waited too long to get moving on it this year (last year Jerry
and I began working on this in early/mid Oct), and things are going
to get very stressful very quickly if we try to pull this off before
Christmas.
I don't see a problem with having a post-holiday party in early/mid
January. Martha's is less likely to booked on the night we want the
room, and we can likely get a speaker a little easier as well.
I don't know md's schedule is like in early January, but if he's not
available, maybe we can ask someone else.
