My $ .02 worth is that the Quarterly meetings were designed to offer something different than just what we get at the monthly LUG meetings. So, you could make it an early Nashua meeting for Dec with the pizza and pepsi and I am sure that the regular folk will come.

While I share your concern, I also note that space isn't free. I suspect
we will find it difficult to locate an area to gather in which can provide
dinner to some but not all during the holiday season. We're competing with
too many paying customers. (Of course, I could be wrong, and would be
delighted to be proved so.)

Can we bring food to DWC (or other non-food-establishment)? If so,
perhaps we could just order a bunch of pizzas and bring a bunch of two liter
bottles of soda. Not terribly classy, but highly economical. And we are
supposed to be a bunch of geeks, right? ;-)
