Snap reaction: having a chapter host a "quarterly, regional"
meeting is a great idea. An extension of what happened de facto
in Nashua sometimes. One chapter's meeting goes on steroids
occasionally. It was always Nashua before, but so what.
Having other schedules jerked around, thought, has downsides.
It's not too bad if only a couple of people show up at a chapter
meeting near the "regional" one because of ThursdayOverload.
But /ever/ having a new attendee show up on a chapter's appointed
night and find the library dark is unacceptable.
Even the perfected wiki wouldn't be suitable for a schedule
which has to say... what? this?:
"Monadlug ... meets 3rd Thursday except for January, April,
July, and October, unless there's no regional meeting that
quarter in which case it meets then after all..."
Nope. You schedule the show, then the show goes on, even if
the audience is one person.
