It's a catch-22 with us.... They want to see it work before they let us
use it, but they won't let us use it to prove it works. The only time
Linux is given any play is when it is handed to a group of
windoze-weenies so that they can come back and say "we couldn't figure
it out, so it must not work". I had an interesting conversation with a
PHB recently where I was told to stop suggesting Linux because open
source would never be used because of "Corporate Policy". I asked him
"If open source is forbidden, then shouldn't we shut down all of the
Apache web servers and pull out every perl script?" I never did get an
answer....
