Caldera has had novell client and admin tools for NDS since the '94 - '95
timeframe. They even have a Netware 4.0b compatible server process for linux
(3 user is free, pay for additional licenses, similar pricing to Novell's
IIRC), but the client I think was free and worked against Novell Netware
servers too...
