For the address rewrite, that's easy enought to circumvent by changing
your sendmail configuration (yeah, if you know how, which I do, thanks
to VERY bad management at Nortel Networks, our parent company). :)
As for the attachment issue, I know there's a way to do that too, but I
haven't had the pleasure (or torment?) of trying to figure that one
out.
