I don't know how you have to config daemons on windows because fortunatelly
last time I worked with windows 3.1, a few years ago. I would guess that if
you want snmp, you probably have to config it in the registry. But it's a pretty
good idea that all the windows nt  4.0's came with rw public community string.
But also did some other boxes, ranging from 3com 3300  to Sparc ultra 10.
Too bad win 98 doesn't have it by default.
