Well, there's a little more to consider here.  First, using the same system to 
run Oracle *and* anything else is probably a bad idea.  I would isolate the 
Oracle installation on separate system from the Samba server.  Oracle is very 
resource intensive, whereas Samba is mainly only I/O intensive. 

The network itself should be able to handle the load with 5 users, but again, 
is this a shared or switched environment? A shared network segment will be 
okay with only 5 systems, but if you're also putting the Oracle and Samba 
stuff on the same segment, and all systems are hitting that one system, you'll 
end up with a lot of collisions if this is a heavily used system.  If you plan 
to grow this environment at all, and add more clients, I recommend moving at 
least to a 10Mbs switched network.
