Another DSL provider I'm currently looking at is Speakeasy (link is
http://www.speakeasy.net/). They provide service to the area, have
an engine to see if you are within distance of the CO, and have a
couple specials running right now (hardware/installation rebates so
their cost is "free"). One other small point which makes me so
interested... Their servers run Linux and they are quick to "admit"
it. One of my MIS people (works with M$ & *nix, runs Linux at home)
is running with them and is *extremely* happy with their service.
As far as MediaOne, I'm going to drop them like a hot potatoe (sp? ;)
I can get more/better/cheaper service with a Dish and DSL - especially
since they are too out of touch with Nashua.
Good Luck!
