Whenever I install RH, the first thing I do is grab the *original*
kernel source off the `net. One of the problems that I run into is that
I tend to use several kernel patches (IPSec Masq, etc.), and they just
don't work on the RH distribution kernel.
Since my purpose is merely one of aesthetics, I might just grab one
of those nifty Linux splash screens so the boot messages won't be seen
;-)
