You may know this already, but try looking at http://www.pricewatch.com and
http://www.pricescan.com to get the lowest prices on hardware. They compile
lists of company with their prices, showing the cheapest price first.

For really good hardware reviews, go to http://www.arashbest.com. That site
compiles a list of what they consider to be the "best" hardware in each
category. They also show the runners up in each category, and so if you buy
either the winner or runner up, you'll be doing good. All you have to know is
your category and it will give you a few good ideas. I used that site a lot
when I built my computer in January. But, this site isn't just for Linux, so
you'll have to check to see if Linux has the drivers for the hardware
seperately, maybe on redhat.com.

If you want to cross reference the hardware found at arashbest.com, go to
www.reviewfinder.com to find detailed specs of the hardware.

Also, as a side note, it may be good to at least get 256 megs of RAM if this
is going to be used as a production server. It's pretty easy to run out of
128 megs when there are many users connected.

Regards,

Warren
