Well, yes... clearly you'd have to have some sort of account with pepsi
that authorized you via some keys, in which case the anonymous would be
replaced with your matter transfer account name, but I didnt think it was
necessary to bore people with the gory details of all that...

Although if you WERE using an anonymous transfer protocol, it really would
obviate the need for encryption since if someone hijacked your stream, you
could just download another one... BUT, that doesn't protect you from
those evil-doers who might want to hijack your connection from the SOURCE
end, and send you their crappy pepsi replacement beverage in hopes of
getting you hooked on it, so that you'll matter-transfer theirs instead!

Now, as to what the possible benefits of this might  be in a world where
everything is free?  Je ne sais pas, mon ami.

On the other hand, you could run into those truly malevolent types who
want to jam poisonous crap down your matter transfer... that would suck.
