It automatically handles the construction of object oriented Java code that talks to a relational database. If any of you are Java developers, you know that this code can often be very tricky to write. Oracle is in the process of translating its Java development tool, JDeveloper, to pure Java. This will enable it to run on Linux. One of the first pieces of the tool is the Business Components Project Wizard. Oracle has released this free for Linux.
