  That is the first time I've heard Flash excluded from the domain of
proprietary formats.  Last I knew, it was highly proprietary to Macromedia,
and closely guarded by them.  Furthermore, player availability was limited to
Windows, Mac, and Linux on only a couple of machine types.

  Has this changed?
