When we changed our network over to DHCP, our Mandrake users (all two of
them) had trouble getting a DHCP address. They had their boot protocol
set to DHCP, which on Mandrake uses dhcpcd to obtain an IP address, which
wasn't working. I looked through the network scripts in
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts and discovered you could set the BOOTPROTO
variable (in /etc/sysconfig/network) to PUMP, which will use pump to get
an IP address. This worked perfectly.

I have a RedHat 6.1 firewall connected to my MediaHun connection... Works
great.
