Eewwww....RedHat 6.0 was pretty much a nightmare. 6.2 is much better, and
freely downloadable, or available for $3 at www.cheapbytes.com. So the
book is what you're paying for here. Now, I haven't read this book, but if
there's one thing I've learned about buying books, it's that I first check
O'Reilly (www.ora.com), IF and only IF they do not have a book on the
subject will I go elsewhere. They happen to have a good book called
'Running Linux', I think it's now in its 3rd edition and I found the
original edition very helpful when I started with Linux. (DISCLAIMER: yes,
my name is in the book as I co-wrote the Alpha chapter, I don't get
royalties for it, so I'm not saying this just to get $$ from you buying
it).
