Not sure if this is relevant. At Polaroid, we had problems with the 
SparcStations recognizing the juke boxes. Your FutureDomain controller 
probably only recognizes device number 0 through 6. Check the LU 
number on your hard drive and make sure that it is in the range 0 through 
6. I have also seen problems with the LU of a drive set to 0. Most SCSI 
controllers have boot up settings.

Another thing you might need to do is to add a terminator.
