I happened to read this just moments after reading the program for NISSC, a
conference co-sponsored by the NSA. I'm planning to attend it next week in
Baltimore, in large part because of a session about Open Source. The abstract
sounded fairly positive, and the panel is chaired by Peter Neumann and includes
Jay Beale (Bastille Linux) and esr. I wouldn't be so quick to disparage the
NSA, they seem to have a fairly pragmatic outlook (I'll see if their speakers
give me grounds for reconsidering that notion, they're presenting several
sessions in the program too).
