FWIW, there are versions of "Windows Media Player" (or whatever they're
calling it today) for some commercial Unixes. Solaris and HP-UX, I think.
If you have one of those hardware platforms, you might get it to work under
Linux using binary compatibility support.
(If you like conspiracy theories, every company that makes a commitment to
Linux (SGI, DEC/Compaq) has had support for their Unix dropped by Microsoft
soon after. Heh heh.)
