I am about to set up my next laptop to dual boot
between Linux and Windows. My last one I set up was
Linux\Win98. I used "System Commander" to handle the
partitions and boot manager. But I wanted to set up
this next one using LILO only.
I am looking for tips and recommendations on setting
it up. I know Linux will run on it I tested it on a
similar laptop. I will need to do 2 partitions, a 2
gig for LINUX and a 4 gig for Windows (either ME or
2K).
I remember that I had issues with Windows. It had to
be on the primary partition (that's why I used System
Commander last time, But I want to use LILO this
time.)
First Question is what is the best order to do this
in? I was planning on setting up my two partitions and
then should I load Linux first? How will that affect
Windows need to be on the primary partition?
Thanks for your help. advice, comments.
