  Dunno, I never use those session manager things.  The only programs I want
starting up when I login are the panel applets.

  Then again, I don't logout that often.  I normally just use the "Lock
screen" option.  Restarting is for Windows users.  ;-)

  Sawfish does have this concept of "workspaces" versus "desktops" that I
haven't looked into... maybe it relates to that?

  This generally works for me, but again, I don't use it that much.

  I found Enlightenment to be the biggest resource pig ever invented.  It
makes Emacs look like /bin/ed.  Not only did it suck down CPU cycles like
crazy, but it leaked memory like a rusty bucket.  It also crashed
periodically, likely related to said memory leaks.  But hey, it has 32-bit
color, stereo sound, and nifty animations in it's crash dialog...

  (Though I haven't used Enlightenment in a long time.  More recent releases
may well have improved.)
