The problem is, this "clarification" means that all previous releases of
OpenBSD which include IPFilter *ARE ILLEGAL*.
You may not care about that, but a great many people and companies do.

Where did you get this figure of six months? Seriously. As far as I know,
copyright infringement doesn't have a grace period. :-)
