A while back there was somewhat of a disconnect in the tulip area where Don
Becker was not given some patches. When I got the Linksys, I downloaded the
driver from Donald's site, compiled them and copied them to
/lib/modules/2.2.xx/net. The work fine. As I did mention, I have had zero
problems with Linksys over the years. I also have good experiences with
Netgear. A while back, I damaged my netgear pcmcia card (actually it was
more of the dongle cord). After explaining the problem, they sent me an RMA
for both the dongle cord and the card. I received a replacement for the
dongle cord as well as a new card complete with dongle. I leave the dongles
both at work and at home except when I need it for a BLU meeting.
