  Beware: There is no silver bullet.  (If you haven't read _The Mythical
Man-Month_, by Fred Brooks, then... you should.)  XML is a great idea, but it
will not solve all our problems.  In particular, formally defining the syntax
of your extension does not make it an open standard.

  The average induhvidual just wants to browse the web with the least amount
of trouble.  Unfortunately, a large number of so-called "web sites" are really
applications written for Microsoft Internet Explorer.  This leads to MSIE
being the browser of choice for the average induhvidual.
