I did not say that it is easy.  Only that it is necessary.  I agree
with everything that you said.  Despite that, the only way to end
terrorism in this country is to show terrorists we, the CITIZENS of
this nation, will not let it succeed, that we are not afraid to stop
them, that we will not be terrorized.  They count on you NOT to defend
yourself every time they attack.  And they always get their way...

It does not matter whether they will drive the plane into the WTC, or
that they will land it safely in Aruba and let everyone go.  It does
not matter if there is a bomb on the plane, or if they're serving the
passengers chamgagne.  The point is you don't know what they will do,
no matter what they tell you.  They're almost certainly lying to you
anyway.  They must be stopped.  Otherwise, terror and chaos reign.
And that's what they want.

I only hope that I can live up to my words if I should someday find
myself in that position...
