Actually, unless they've made a change in the last few years I 
believe they carry low velocity MagSafe ammo.

MagSafe is a frangible round, the core is filled with shotgun pellets 
to transmit the maximum amount of force and create the largest 
possible wound channel. 

The low velocity and design decrease the chances of penetrating 
hard surfaces, decreasing your chances of causing cabin 
decompression.  It also virtually eliminates the chances of 
overpenetration, a "through and through" that could cause harm to 
bystanders.

As of a few years ago they still carried these types of rounds.
