FWIW, One thing I have found useful for personal SPAM filtering is to have procmail deliver the spam "Hits" go to a separate "spam" folder. Then each night a cronjob perl script runs over this folder looking for any new entries. It gathers up all of the new "From" and "Subject" lines and sends them to me in a single email.
That way I can dispense with it in about 5-10 seconds in the morning and not accidentally discard any mail I really wanted. Currently the volume of spam I get is not so huge to make it difficult to quickly scan the email. WRT spam volume who knows what the future bring: it may become onerous just to read the list of spams that come in 1 day... It is possible a similar scheme would be useful in a group (rather than personal) SPAM filtering environment... ***************************************************************** To unsubscribe from this list, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the text 'unsubscribe gnhlug' in the message body. *****************************************************************
