I said that I have a list of vendors that I have used and trust and who are consistently the low price leaders. I also use resellerratings.com to check out a vendor I'm not familiar with. I guess it's all what you're used to. If you have been going to computer shows for years and always see the same guy in the same spot month after month and he's doing a brisk business, you can probably be safe with him. But I would never walk into that unfamiliar territory and feel comfortable parting with my hard-earned cash.
