  I would say Linux-Mandrake definitely does well in the "glitz" department.  
Lots of desktop extras, like video games and productivity apps.  Lots of
choices for editors and things.  They also populate the GUI menu for each
desktop with icons for all their choices.  You can even get a GUI boot-up
screen if you turn on the framebuffer console.  I'm not one for glitter, but
if I was, Mandrake would definitely get my vote.
