Could you put some of this on the wiki please? Until
we get round to properly updating the handbook, it
would be good to have something up to date to point
people to.

Even easier, if you're a GUI sort of person:
* in nautilus, do Open with -> yelp
* you can also just drag the file to a yelp window.
