Basically, to make sure you have the UI of Gtk+ correctly translated, you
have to:


1- Have the source code from Git repo downloaded
git clone git://git.gnome.org/gtk+

2- Enter the folder where the UI is available
cd gtk+/po

3- Update the your PO file with the Internationalization Tool (e.g.: sl)
intltool-update sl

4- Translate it to 100% and submit to Damned Lies (trust in your newly
updated PO file, and not what D.L. says. As the D.L. could be using
out-dated POT as reference)

5- Push translations to GNOME repo.

Done.
