On one hand you seem to believe that "industry generally acts as if the GPL works as intended" and on the other hand you keep bringing up the GPL "enforcement" cases that just show that a lot of companies utterly ignore the GPL. (To quote the GNU monk Harald Welte: "We currently have 185 open tickets (i.e. reported GPL violations) at gpl-violations.org".) So acting "as if the GPL works as intended" means to utterly ignore the GPL... right Hyman? Or you are saying... what? regards, alexander. -- http://gng.z505.com/index.htm (GNG is a derecursive recursive derecursion which pwns GNU since it can be infinitely looped as GNGNGNGNG...NGNGNG... and can be said backwards too, whereas GNU cannot.) _______________________________________________ gnu-misc-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnu-misc-discuss
