That's only good for running programs once Windows has booted. And I got this one 
right a few
years back (with the help of the cygnus fellows).

Yes that's it :
SHELL=C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND.COM /E:1024 /P
in the config.sys
one may change the 1024 value, it's just that this value suits my needs.
This may help some other Windows user ...

And one more thing learnt : I did not know about this googles. Got that one in my 
bookmarks now.

Since I did not try and compare with others (say altavista) would you know off the top 
of your
head how it compares ? Or does it even attempt to do the same job ?
