Hi All,

With much help from the Gnucash development team, I've finally
managed to cobble together a working version of Gnucash on
Solaris/Intel. From http://www.gnucash.org:

GnuCash (previously known as X-Accountant) is a personal finance accounting
application. The project goals are to create a world-class GPL'ed Open Source
personal financial application for GNU/Linux and other Unix's.

I have a link to a pkgadd version of gnucash on my web site at:

http://www.mindspring.com/~dwarfie.

Its about 11.1 MB's in size. So far the only problem I've encountered is that
transferring money from one account to another causes a core dump. This
is probably my fault instead of Gnucash's. The steps to compile it to work on
Solaris were not straightforward, and I made some changes that were probably
a lot less than kosher. Oh well, it works. I think I included all the dependencies
to get it run, but if any are missing, let me know, and I'll forward the missing
pieces on to you.

alan
