This one, I'm not sure on, but I believe it may be required, so it may
be needed. you may want to search through config.log to see what errors (there
should be some, if you have XmHTML installed, and configure didn't catch it)
there may be. Also, if your copy of XmHTML is a shared library, run ldd on it,
and see if the libraries it was compiled with, are there.

Aye. this is bad. But not on your part, so to say. I had the same
problem, when I specified the path to guile and guile-config, in the
paramaters passed to ./configure. When I didn't put them in, it found them
without any problems. Also, you may want to run ldd on these as well (gnucash
has made me run ldd so many times lately to see if I have everything current)
to see if you have the libraries for it as well. If not, you may want to
compile guile from the source. It may turn out to be easier going that route.

Basically, that since it couldn't find guile and its other components,
make blew up with compiling.

You may want to upgrade nana. If I remember right, the Readme sez it
requires nana-2.4. I'm not sure on if it REQUIRES it, but I'm running nana
2.5, and it works with no problem. Also, lesstif-0.89.0 has a nasty little bug
in it, for trying to save things compiled with it. Try using lesstif-0.88.9
instead. Also, what version of guile are you using? 1.3.1 should work for you,
or even 1.3.

Give that a shot, and see what happens.

                                                        BL.
