No, you can still have transfers from multiple accounts to the same savings goal:
+ Cash On Hand
+ Bank Accounts
+Checking
- Savings Goals
+ ...
...
+ Savings Goals
- Honeymoon
...

That sounds to me like mixing real and virtual transactions.. that has me a bit
worried. (I may be misunderstanding you though)

More involved does worry me a bit too as more involved code generally means more
bug prone and more difficult to mainain code, but I'm not totally adverse to the
idea.
