Dear Mr. Sameh,

There are two organizations involved in this discussion: The GnuCash
Development Team and The Translation Project. The latter is an umbrella
organization that helps to coordinate translations for many projects including
GnuCash, but each project is responsible for determining what translations are
released. Your team’s translation has already been committed into GnuCash's
code repository and will be included in the next release; previous versions
have been included in GnuCash since 2.6.0 in 2014, (not 2012 as I said earlier,
sorry for the error) despite having partial coverage. The GnuCash team are
grateful for your work and for the huge improvement in coverage.

The remainder of this discussion has been about whether the Arabic team at the
Translation Project would coordinate this translation. I started it because I
saw that the Language-Team header in the translation had been changed to
"Arabic (http://translationproject.org/team/ar.html)”, so I asked the
Translation Team project coordinator about it who in turn asked the Arabic team
leader, who pushed back. Since it’s clear that the Translation Project had no
involvement in producing this translation I’ll change that header. I can
restore its previous value, "Arabic
(http://www.transifex.com/projects/p/gnucash-2410/language/ar/)” or something
else if you or Abdulsalam prefer.

Until the Translation Project works out its issues with your team’s work please
continue to submit translations to GnuCash directly and please don’t include
references to the Translation Project in the translation headers.
